Trackpad got defective within first month! (No returns available for a replacement, horrible)
Update: Following the reply from Surface Customer Care to this review, I have contacted with them to sort this out. They have recommended me to do a bunch of things, which didn’t really solve the issue. The representative assigned, however, was very caring, and that was all I needed apparently.I have realized that the problem does not lie completely on this specific Type Cover I received. The issue described below occurs ONLY when my device is connected to the 65W power supply (as opposed to the 35W power supply that comes along with the Surface Pro 4, bought from Microsoft Store as a secondary charger) which I always keep connected to a multiple-output power strip I have in my living room.So, there it is. I give it 5 stars. I could take off like a star for not working well under this adverse (?) conditions, but I like this thing so much. It is well designed, well built. As for the issue, I think it probably is sourced at somewhere inside the Surface Pro 4, about the keyboard connector and the regulation of higher-than-expected power supply.– OLD REVIEW –I have no problems with the design, but maybe the build quality. It’s just that the keyboard I received is not functionally perfect, and somewhat defective:Its trackpad does not work 100% of the time. The keys function just fine, but the trackpad does not respond from time to time. It’s like trying to write with a ballpoint pen that is very low on ink, really. I draw circles on the trackpad with my finger to get it back to working. It stutters while drawing circles, then gets back fine after a short while. Stupid, but that’s how it is.Given that I have bought this as a replacement to my first 1.5 years old Pro Type Cover (Teal), this is a huge disappointment to me. I had replaced that one, because some of its keys (v, 4, enter, and maybe some more) got irresponsive after 1.5 years of usage. This one got defective on me in just a week of usage, and I had been taking care of it like a newborn…I think it wasn’t such a good idea to utilize ribbon cables on a junction that’s bent ever so frequently. I don’t know the insides of this keyboard really, but hey, what else could they use?I had stumbled upon this review page while I was looking for a link to get it replaced with a new one, somehow. I couldn’t find any links, but a product that got defective within a month should be replaceable, right?

Beautiful design and feel, much better than an off brand keyboard
I am in love with this keyboard! I bought it in platinum and it is beautiful. It is slightly lighter in color than in the picture, but I actually like that better. When I bought my surface pro 4 a year and a half ago, I didn’t want to spend $100 on the keyboard because it sounded like a rip off to me. Instead, I chose to buy a non microsoft keyboard from Moko for $40. The keyboard had been working for me but was never great quality and I was unaware I would have to charge the keyboard separately when I bought it, which was kind of annoying. The Moko keyboard just broke and I decided to invest in this Microsoft typecover instead of spending another $40 on another keyboard that would probably only last a year. It was DEFINITELY worth it. Yes i still think it was overpriced, but if you have the surface pro (which is a beautiful computer), you probably want a nice keyboard to go along with it. This keyboard is miles better in terms of quality in comparison to the knockoffs on amazon and ebay. I love that I no longer have to charge the keyboard, and the keys light up which is great. My typing is much smoother and more accurate than on my old keyboard. The keys are also much quieter than the other brand. Overall, if you’re trying to decide if you should get a real microsoft typecover or an off brand, you should go with the real microsoft keyboard. In the long run, you’ll probably end up spending just as much buying several other keyboard because they don’t last long. I wish I had just gotten the real typecover to begin with so I didn’t have to deal with a low quality keyboard all this time.

Total improvement from the previous version
I bought this for my Surface Pro 3. All the time that I’d owned that unit, as much as I loved it, I would always think to myself how much I hated that keyboard. So much so, that I’d hated using it along with the lousy trackpad. The keys always felt so cramped since there was no separation between them. And the worst thing is while it’s magnetically folded up against the bottom of the Surface to prop up the keyboard, it would cover part of the bottom of the screen making touching taskbar icons more difficult. Who designed that? The revamp Keyboard for the Surface Pro line improves and fixes pretty much all issues with the original. The keys are spaced out in island/chiclet style. The go all the way to within 4mm of the edge on each side. The original left a space twice that size. It’s also expanded vertically reach closer to the top of the keyboard. This of course necessitate trimming the piece that magnetically attaches to the screen. The bond is now not as strong, but it leaves a nice comfortable space between the bottom of the screen and the keyboard to more easier tap taskbar icons. The moues a 40% larger and feels amazing compared to the original. The backlit keys are much better. They aren’t brighter, but there’s less light bleed out the edge of the keys somehow making the letters and characters much easier to read. The hollow feel and sound while type is still there, but it seems more rigid and quieter while typing. This made turned the Surface 3 Pro into a computer I like to the computer I love! Thank you, Microsoft, for making the backwards compatible with the Surface Pro 3!

Perfect Keyboard
Standard for all my reviews: When reviewing products, I always remain objective and honest about the product or service. I always review with information that I feel others would like to know about the product as I always assume what I’m writing will influence for or against the purchase. I always try to go above and beyond surface characteristics and input into quality, value and application. Most importantly, I will always end the review with an answer as to whether I’d purchase the product again which I believe is the most critical question pertaining to the item. To manufacturers: Want me to review your items, just let me know!This was a keyboard for a new Surface I purchased for my 95 year old mother and she loves it. Her old one stopped charging and the Surface was dying. After 7-8 years, we got her a new surface with a new keyboard and she’s happy as a clam. Functionality is great, look and feel is awesome and she loves the feeling of the keys much more than her old one. She used to be able to type 110 wpm and she says she can actually type on this one.Wish it was a bit cheaper but the cost isn’t bad and it seems built to last.

Good Overall But Not Much Higher Quality Than Standard Type Cover
I bought the titanium-color MS Signature Type Cover when I bought my 2017 Surface Pro. Its Alcantara texture definitely added to the overall premium feel of the already very high-quality-feeling Surface Pro. Its color matches the body of the titanium-colored Surface. That a good enough keyboard for daily driver use exists in this form factor at all is impressive, so in that sense all Type Covers are excellent products. The trackpad is good for something this size, and the keys have an impressively soft-yet-sturdy feel to them. It feels expensive. However, when it recently died, I replaced it with a standard black Type Cover, and I don’t think the Signature is a major upgrade.The death of the Signature cover was weird. At first it would occasionally not work when I attached it to the Surface. Then it worked less and less frequently. After a while, it would only work if I let the Surface go fully dead, then left it off while hooked up to a charger, then turned it on. I believe this slow death was the result of some kind of electrical issue, probably inside the hinge where it bends a lot. I worried my Surface had an internal electrical problem or a dying battery.In the meantime, hoping the culprit was *just* the Type Cover, I ordered a new one. I noticed the standard Type Cover available in black and significantly less expensive, I gave it a shot. Just hooked it up to the Surface, and it works perfectly. Whether or not I do have problems with the guts of the Surface, the old Type Cover is definitely dead.I had a lot of trouble finding info online about just how different the coatings of the Signature and standard Type Covers are – I really did not want something slick and rubbery, which I’d seen some people say the standard Type Cover is. I don’t want to bury the lede so here’s the point: I’m REALLY impressed with how close the black standard Type Cover is in quality, and while the Signature version’s Alcantara is luxurious, it has its own flaws and, for me, I don’t think the price difference is justified.Specific observations:- THE ALCANTARA WILL PICK UP STAINS FROM FREQUENT USE. I don’t think it lasted more than 6 months without some discoloration. It didn’t bother me a *lot* – Alcantara does that – but I’m not sure I’d pay extra for that privilege again. Probably of an issue with darker colors. It’s worth noting, though, that this isn’t even the computer I use most – my surface keyboard sees a fraction of the mileage of my work computer. I have zero idea at this point how much better the standard black cover will be, but it’s hard to imagine it doing worse with a less absorbent material and a much darker color. For what it’s worth, the other side of the Signature cover didn’t pick up stains from normal use.- RIDGES WILL CURL AND WRINKLE. There’s a soft, thin ridge that runs around the edge of the cover, and that *will* wrinkle and curl, especially around the corners. Again, not surprising for a soft fabric, and I am going to assume that the standard Type Cover will do this eventually as well, though frankly its coating feels like it should be more durable.- THE STANDARD TYPE COVER IS VERY CLOSE IN QUALITY. When my black Type Cover arrived, I was very pleasantly surprised to find that it, too, feels very premium. It does not have the softness of the Alcantara on the Signature cover, but it has a very nice textured matte finish to it, and it is surprisingly similar. It is definitely more rubbery, but actually only slightly so. It’s still smooth with a subtly soft texture, almost like a very fine microfiber.- THE STANDARD AND SIGNATURE COVERS ARE MECHANICALLY IDENTICAL. The keys are exactly the same, with a soft and relatively high-quality feel for a device this thin.- THE BLACK COVER LOOKS COOLER ON A TITANIUM SURFACE. Fact.I’m not sure how I feel either way about the fact that a keyboard costing over $130 died after less than 3 years of daily, but not heavy, use. I do chalk it up to the compromises required to make an electrical device with a hinge that thin and lightweight – it’s not what you want, but it’s what you get even with maybe a well made keyboard that’s as thick as a couple of credit cards. If the Signature version came in a color I was in love with, I’d feel OK about a modest price premium. Knowing the keyboard has a limited lifespan, though, led me to the less expensive one, and I’m basically almost as impressed with it as I was with the more expensive Signature.

Continual evolution and Improvement!
I’ve had a variety of Microsoft touch/type covers in the past, and once I went type I never went back. I happen to be a wicked fast typer, so I’m always going to prefer a device that lets me hammer out the prose diligently rather than a touch type or something like that.As compared to the last type cover I used (whcih was not type for pro 4, but for pro 2) this cover doesn’t feel like a major change, but a continual refinement and evolution.I do enjoy the material touch, the keys to depress smoothly, provide a desirable amount of resistance during typing.The touchpad is phenomenal, and as good as the touchpad on my 2016 Macbook. This has historically been a pain point on most touch surfaces and they’re finally there. It’s great.Attaching and removing are as easy as usual. It’s definitely an evolution, and not a revolution. Exactly What I Wanted
I’m a little worried at times about buying expensive electronic equipment on Amazon, where you can’t always guarantee quality or accuracy. However, contrary to some of the negative reviews here, I received this product exactly as advertised. It is true to the color in the pictures (beautiful) and the keyboard works seamlessly. It’s even a little quieter than my original gray Alcantara keyboard that I bought in 2017. It has all the same buttons in the same place (English version). I got it as a replacement to my gray one that got the dreaded “permanent stains” that gave it a gross appearance over time. I really love this darker blue as a stain-hiding alternative to the lighter colors, especially as it is more interesting than the black.

I’m more impressed than I expected!
When I ordered my new Surface Pro 6 the keyboard may have been the hardest decision, after storage for the Surface Pro 6.I first ordered a Signature Type Cover fingerprint keyboard in Alcatara at a premium price, something that seems to be a ghost, and it was. No seller selling that keyboard actually has or ships it and even claim they don’t exist….although they’re a listed seller. I was disappointed but it went back instantly. I decided Alcantara is what was more important vs. fingerprint scanner on a smooth plastic keyboard so I ordered this.I got the burgundy Signature Type Cover to go with the black Surface Pro 2, thinking it might be just a little too blingy for me, but low and behold, it looks awesome and works great too. We’ll see how well it holds up as some report they get dirty easy and aren’t easy or are impossible to clean but for the great prices you can find them for on Amazon, they’re a no-brainer.The fingerprint function is something I use whenever I can on my phone but for now, it appears to have limited use for Windows/laptop. If that changes, it’s easy to pick up another keyboard and swap them out, whenever you want!Fast shipping also!!

Works great but not made for long term
Exactly as described and lasted me a decent amount of time. Over time this keyboard likes to soak up finger grease which is super noticeable on the black color and hard to remove. The trackpad mouse is also super greasy and the mouse clicks become more indented into the keyboard until it eventually doesn’t work.So definitely not made to last which is crazy for the price but also I can’t really complain because by the time it started having issues my surface pro tablet stopped working properly altogether so ultimately this lasted longer than the product it’s designed for.

Works great but needs to last longer
This is a great keyboard but after 2 years it’s having problems. It connects directly to the Surface Pro (not bluetooth) but even then it’s not always recognized. It is sleek and fits perfect but for the price it needs to last longer. 2 years for $140 just doesn’t work for me, it’s not that great, it’s just a keyboard after all. Not a bad product, just know what you’re buying. At $60, perhaps $75, I think this would have been a 4 star review.

This is the third keyboard my son has had for his surface pro. Even though this one is a lot more expensive sure he can really see the extra cost is worth it. Don’t go with the generic one because of cost. Just get this keyboard.

Works with Surface Pro 7
I was nervous this wouldn’t work for my new Surface Pro 7 but it fits and workings amazing! I bought the 7 from BestBuy and they told me it would be difficult to find the keyboard. At the time I purchased, it cost $50 more than the market value (but with it being sold out aka supply/demand – I wasn’t surprised). I had seen mixed reviews on here if it was compatible with the 7, but it does work! Very happy with the purchase!

Works really well!
I ended up getting this as a replacement for my Pro 3 because my cat was ripping off the keys of my other keyboard (possibly a cry for attention or me trying to put her on a diet). This one looks and feels really nice. I don’t feel like the key backlight is as strong and the mousepad part also needs more force to click it (or I just got used to it on my old one). The magnetic part does not stay as well, but it got better after the first few times of pushing it up. I love the new options on the Fn keys (screen brightness, volume control). Overall it’s a nice keyboard that works well with my Pro 3 and hopefully I can keep my cat away from it

Beautiful useful product
Been using about a month now and it set up automatically and works great with my refurbished Surface Pro 4. Nice protection as well. It doesn’t get the last star because the material is a bit of a dirt magnet and a bit delicate.

Super useful but expensive
This is a must have for my surface pro because I use it for school and need the typing capabilities. The fabric is very soft and nice and they keys are perfect for my hands. It it nice to have another layer of protection for the screen when I’m not using the tablet. I am not giving it 5 stars only because it is on the expensive end, especially since it is only an add on. I know that they must have great profit margins on these. Overall I am happy with it, just wish it wasn’t as expensive.

This keyboard feel suprisingly good to type on.
I was really expecting to not like the keyboard due to the size but it feels really good I noticed my accuracy went up when typing on this keyboard and I can type a little faster than I do on my full sized keyboard. especially when the keyboard is laid flat. the keys have 3 levels of brightness, (Im typing this review on it in the dark at the lowest setting)the track pad feels really good too, well enough that i havent bothered to try to use a mouse with it yet though i am planning on getting the matching colored mouse for this for when im working on spreadsheets at work. so far its a 5 star item.

This keyboard is comfortable to use thanks to the fabric, and doesn’t feel cramped despite the 12″ size. Keys feel solid and type well, with medium-high resistance, and are somewhere in the middle between quiet and noisy. The keyboard isn’t as noisy as most mechanical keyboards (like a Cherry blue/green) but it’s still noisy enough to bother my wife if I’m using it in bed when she wants to sleep. The backlighting is well-balanced, enough to make keys clear and easy to read but not so much that it looks freaky at night. The magnetic attachment to the surface pro works like a charm, and is so easy it’s almost fool-proof. It still feels expensive (compared to similarly priced mechanical gaming keyboards) but does its job well.

I love it
I am using this to type this review. I have been using it for a few hours every day for the last month or so. I am happy with the quality and the usability. The material feels great. It works with the Surface3, which was great new for me.The only problem I had with this is that the trackpad would intermittently stop working. Some experimenting suggested that my fingers are too dry. Though I also suspect that using this with a Surface3 isn’t doing me any favors either. I find track pads to be uncomfortable to use for more than trivial work anyway, but those few days between getting this and then getting a mouse were very aggravating.

Excellent build quality. Alacantra will perma-stain eventually
It works as advertised. Build quality is excellent. Key travel is good (just like a normal keyboard). Backlit keyboard is good. Great design. Its a solid product all round. But I dont like the alacantra nonsense. Yes, it makes the tablet look prity, but its prone to perma-stains in the long run so I expect it’ll get ugly soon. It already shows signs of use after just a week or so, and i’ve seen photos on the net ahowing what these things look like after a while…in short, they don’t age gracefully.

Great surface keyboard.
I bought an off brand with the back lit keys first, which lasted for about 6 months before the key didn’t work rite.This Microsoft brand feels like higher quality and works great and the mouse pad is on point. I’ve only had this for a short time and will update this review if anything changes.

It is the perfect compliment to take advantage of the full potential of the Surface Pro. The action of the keys and the track pad leave nothing to be desired in comarison to a regular lap top computer in normal every day use, i.e.: typing documents, working spreadsheets, surfing the web, and light multimedia use. The retroiluminated keyboard is very convenient in low lighting situations. The material looks great and feels even better. Overall I am very pleased with this type cover and satisfied with the service provided by amazon.

Awesome keyboard, the space between each key and it has a shade feel to the keyboard.
Well, love the keyboard and the space between each keys. In addition, the Alcantara material feel is like suede. I highly recommend it to anyone that are looking for keyboard for Surface Pro 3 and 4.+ The packaging is great with a box and the Microsoft keyboard packaging was a great idea because I order the Keyboard with the finger security scan the other day and received it which had issues with the left side of the keyboard. Observed the packaging may also be due to the Manila folder like packaging. Which may have been thrown around or toppled by other packages. Overall, I am happy with this product.

Works nice
The original one that I ordered with my SP3 was okay, but this one is a little more solid and the mouse pad is a definite improvement over the original. It’s probably better overall but I have a personal attachment to the original that I simply wore out. I went through a lot with the original and it served me well.

Bought used-very good condition and couldn’t be happier
I accidentally spilled some water on my Surface Pro Type Cover, which appeared to short it out. Luckily the water only spilled on the keyboard and didn’t damage the tablet itself. While I’m letting it dry, and not wanting to be without a keyboard, I found this one being sold as Used-Very Good condition for around $60 (with Same Day delivery no less) and decided to give it a shot. Well, I’m very glad I did! Saved me around $30 and the Type Cover’s condition is better than I expected. Aside from not having the retail box it looks and works as new. Very happy!

The automatic addition to any surface
I love the material but I wish it was a full wrap around Alcantara case aswell. It’s very light weight because it’s thin so depending on how often you LAP your laptop is can get awkward but NOT ALL FLIMSY. There is just enough give where it feels like its bending but it’s not and keys and touch pad are amazing so you don’t need to ever be aggressive with it

This keyboard is really great to do use
This keyboard is really great to do use. It types well the mousepad is very responsive as I used it before I decided to get a wireless mouse. Wasn’t aware I could click on it like the buttons of a mousepad either. Found that out by accident. The keyboard is easy to clean and the material feels really nice to the touch. The cover itself is very nice feeling and has that new electronics smell! Who doesn’t love that smell?!?! Works great with the Surface Pro as intended. Would recommend to anyone looking to get a keyboard for their Microsoft Surface.

Fairly Small Keyboard
While it feels premium in every sense of the word, it is really hard to type on after coming from a bigger keyboard. The backlight is lit and the keyboard is fully functional with commands and everything. It doesn’t even use Bluetooth but magnets on the keyboard, which make for flawless pairing. My one other problem with it is that the trackpad gets stuck and you have to bend the keyboard by the mouse to click it back into place.

Not worth the price.
I liked the keyboard while it worked. For the price that it costs, though, I would 1) expect it to work for longer than it did (4 months before it can’t connect to the surface properly anymore, same as the last one) and 2) expect it to have more than a 2-month warranty. There’s not really a good excuse for that short of a warranty other than promoting spending more money. Even apple who is known for milking their customers usually has 1-year warranty for accessories.My takeaway is that I should have spent $30 on a Bluetooth keyboard rather than rebuying a surface keyboard.

Great! But not very durable
This product is great! My only issue is that is does not seem very durable. My “p” button broke almost instantly, and I have yet to find out how to replace it, as the customer support is a bit tricky to navigate. Aside from that, I love it!

You cannot find a better option for a Microsoft Surface Pro keyboard and cover. I have tried several others that I have purchased here on Amazon and have been disappointed. First off, I like that the keyboard doesn’t have a separate battery that I have to charge. Second, it is much more rigid than the others that I have tried. This is especially important if you plan to use the Surface on your lap (as you would a laptop). Third, the track pad is responsive and accurate. Others are either too sensitive, creating unintentional clicks, etc. or not sensitive enough. Finally, the keys feel more like a regular keyboard, which makes typing much easier.

Doesn’t have the upgradable 10 s operating system.
The Surface Pro is a fantastic computer. But be warned this one from Amazon is not what it seems. It comes with Windows 10 home not 10 s like most others. If you want to upgrade the operating system to Windows 10 Pro it’ll cost you an extra 100 dollars. That’s probably why Amazon doesn’t say anywhere what operating system this unit is running. I purchased the Pro 6 with new i7 processor and 16/512.

No Ctrl button on the Right
The new texture feels very comfortable. The keyboard snaps on with ease and the look and feel is very expensive. However, there is no control button on the right side, so it is a totally different typing experience. I will try to get used to it, but I may need to go with an off-brand keyboard simply because this is much less efficient and changes the way I’ve been typing my entire life.

It works very well with MS Surface pro 6
It is light, looks and feels premium. Typing is quite good. A lot of laptops with built-in keyboard might be a bit better, however for the type cover keyboard this is probably the best, that you can buy for the surface pro.It is back-lit so typing in a dim room won’t be any problem. You can also use it on your lap.No drivers needs to be installed, No batteries,No Bluetooth pairing- you just take it out of the box, put it under the surface pro and it simply works.

Could be better
I like the concept and idea of the Alcantara but it didn’t quite translate in real time. It is a lint monster. I have to carry a little microfiber square to get the lint off so it doesnt block my screen. I do admit however it feels superb and looks classy. In terms of rigidity the keyboard has a little bounce to it when typing fast but what can I expect from a thin keyboard. Laws of physics aren’t on its side

Pretty good, but not perfect.
For the money I expected for both sides to be covered in alcantara, only to be surprised when I felt that the keyboard side is extremely smooth and polished. I would much rather have actual alcantara on the keyboard side, rather than the smoothed out texture. The edges also are pretty flimsy and a little too sharp for my liking, you should also be cautious about not accidentally bending the edge(so far the bends have been minor, and have easily been bent back).

Works Fine – Key markings tend to blend with the key color
This works fine. I bought it to replace a Teal colored keyboard that failed after four years. I think I ordered the Platinum color because it was a couple of bucks cheaper. If I had it to do over I would buy Teal or another darker color versus the Platinum. In bright light the letters on the keys tend to blend in with the background color of the keys.

Great Buy
I decided to buy this despite the negative reviews that I saw because the other, non brand alternatives just didn’t it it for me. It works great. It’s plenty sturdy and really nice looking. I got the dark grey color and it was actually lighter in person which I liked. The keys are backlit and it magnetically attaches to my surface pro with no issue. Overall, a great buy in my opinion.

AMAZING Keyboard
This keyboard is wonderful. The buttons feel very smooth when typing and the feel of the cloth like cover over the rest of the keyboard is nice as well. I have also noticed that if something gets on it, you can simply wipe it away with a warm damp cloth and it will return to it’s normal state once it has dried leaving no marks. I would definitely recommend this product and don’t recommend going to the store as they are $169 before tax for the exact same thing.

Authentic, functional
Seems authentic, sturdy, and works perfect with my surface pro 7. Has a great smell to it still after 2 weeks. The hand rest is a rubbery/pleather material and the underside is the Alcantara. The keys are amazing. The track pad feels like every other high end “windows” laptop. My type cover doesn’t look as bright blue as others in store but when it connected, the surface reads it as “surface type cover” so I think its authentic.

I’ve had this keyboard for almost 2 years now!
This product is by far amazing, I’ve had it for almost two years now and I am still very pleased. Every now and then the keyboard doesn’t want to work so I have to remove it from my surface pro and reattach it, then it will start to work like normal again. Other than that, its an awesome product!

Each iteration just keeps getting better and better
This is my third Type Cover for the Surface Pro 3. Each iteration just keeps getting better and better. LOVE IT. Keys are responsive, spacing is perfect. Setting the mouse pad to sensitive is a feature I enjoy. With the elevated keys it makes for a very pleasant typing experience. I’ll be buying the next version when it comes out too. 🙂 Keep up the good work Microsoft! AND if my Surface Pro 3 ever wears out, I’ll be getting another Surface Pro. Great product, use it all the time, for work and pleasure.

Next KB to go with my Surface 3
I use this a home with a Surface 3. I really like the feel of the KB, looks great and so far flawlessly docking and undocking. WIN 10. I recently (finally) migrated to WIN 10 and I waited to long. The connectivity to DT and phone, ease of use make this combination very good. I got the KB that has the fabric feel. I was suspicious, but so far so good.

I bought this as a replacement for a worn down Microsoft keyboard. First, I immediately tried to start the protection period for it, and it had already been claimed and out of date. Not sure why the seller would do that unless it had been used at some point. Second, something about the keyboard isn’t working. The track pad goes in and out but I can still type. It’s not disconnecting because I can still type and there are no notifications of disconnect. So I purchased a faulty product with no available protection plan. Recommend buying from an actual store or from another amazon supplier. My other keyboard of the same type/brand didn’t have nearly this many problems.

Overall very nice
It’s a shade or two darker than the photo, but that’s to be expected. It flexes slightly, but it’s pretty sturdy and doesn’t feel like it’s going to randomly break. The back is very soft, which is nice, and it works great with my Surface Pro 7. The touchpad is a little on the smaller side, but overall I’m really enjoying it so far.

Great product
I was very pleased with my blue keyboard. I was hesitant to buy one as they. are over 100 dollars, but I managed to snag mine with a deal. It attached to my surface pro 7 with no problem and began working immediately. I love the texture of it too! The only thing I wish it did was have a backlight on the keyboard otherwise it is perfect. Very comfortable to type with.

Exactly like my other Microsoft Surface Pro keyboard
I was worried this wouldn’t fit my surface pro 5 based on other reviews, but it was true to it’s stated measurements. I ordered it brand new, no issues, everything works as it should. When I first got my surface pro, the keyboard was included, but a friend spilled an energy drink on the keyboard so I had to buy a new one. The new one is identical to my old one that was also Microsoft. Very pleased with my purchase!

Stopped working
Worked really well for about a year. I stopped using it for a little while because my son popped a key off(not a keyboard issue, just a toddler issue), and I had to type essays so I was using a wired one. Still was using it as the cover while not in use, but when I tried to use it as a keyboard again after a month or so, it wouldn’t work. It’s been almost a year now and it still doesn’t work, so I guess it’s just a 180 dollar screen cover and mousepad(actually does work great as a mousepad).

Love it
The magnetic connection to the surface works really well. I love the different options you have with folding this on the back of the surface as well. The keyboard is super comfortable. The only thing I wish it had was a number pad but I wouldn’t sacrifice the comfortability of the spacing between keys for it.The exterior material is really soft as well. I’ve had this for a month now and love it. Even the way it feels when you press the keys is spot on.

Best accessory for surface
Keyboard is super comfortable to type on and use. Trackpad rivals the MacBook Pro in usability, and the color options are excellent. I highly recommend going with the premium type cover over the standard black rubbery one, it is a completely new experience paired with the surface. Using mine with surface pro 7 platinum color, works perfectly and was had for an amazing price here on amazon.

it was meant to review the arc mouse!—It has such a fancy design that you can bend the mouse flat so it can be easily fit into a sleeve bag. The Burgundy color looks amazing too.However, when it’s arced, there is empty in the middle of the mouse that you have nowhere to rest your fingers around the mouse, making it extremely hard to use. After 5 mins my hands are like extremely sore and tired.
