   Worse connection EVER

   This product sucks with connection. The name doesn’t show in the wifi as LED… it comes up SMART…Also, you have to download the Smart House Skill to connect to Alexa.Lastly, Alexa notice may show up saying that it didn’t connect. All I did was close down the app then open it back up and there was a notice that Alexa connected to the lights.Again a little confusing make sure to have patience.ORI recommend just getting the amazon basic light. It connected to Alexa in literally 2 seconds. Way less hassle but it is doable with attention to detail.

   I have been searching out smart light bulbs for my whole house. I wanted something easy to install, compatible with Alexa, as well as app control without voice control. I wanted something that could be rainbow, and offered a daylight setting (yellow light gives me migraines) Something that could be bright light or dimmed as well. I was also hoping for bulbs that could even change colors with music but this was not a requirement. Above all I wanted something easy to install.I have tried many brands of smart bulbs including Gosund (2/4 of these stopped working after 3! Months also these were not rainbow only a yellow tone ) GE (both stopped working after less than a month they wouldn’t not connect to app or Alexa and only functioned as a regular light no smart abilities it just stopped working) wyze (every week I had to reprogram these)These bulbs were SO easy to install! No screw it in and then turn fixtures off and on several times. No need to re-enter wifi info for each bulb! A peeve I had with other brands. They were giving me an issue with installing using the Alexa app, so I downloaded the brands Tuya smart app and it was not an issue. With that app I was able to seamlessly link all the bulbs to Alexa, and assign them to groups as I desired.My son can change the color by asking Alexa to do it, a bonus for a kid who goes through those phases of being afraid of the dark. Any color in rainbow can be chosen, and you can choose any brightness level.These have a true daylight option for white light !!! Not limited to a soft white or yellow tone white light.I cannot rave about these enough! And the price!!! Smart lights get SO expansive and these for a 10 pack under $50 is amazing!I will be ordering more and recommending these to everyone I know wanting to upgrade to smart lights.

   Great Lights, connection sometimes spotty!

   These were really great bulbs! The setup takes a little invested time, but once done runs smoothly! Every color was really bright and vivid, and you never felt like any of the colors weren’t quality! The only gripes have to do with connectivity! Sometimes, if your Wi-Fi isn’t top tier, the lights won’t react to Alexa/ the app. I had to get creative and restart the app, or reset Alexa, etc. But even this only happened once in a while for me and it was typically easy to control them via the apps! My BIGGEST GRIPE is that if you decide to use the switches rather than voice control/apps for whatever reason (e.g late night with a baby and I am not close enough to whisper to Alexa nor do I have my phone.) then the lights will sometimes completely reset! This is because to set them up you have to turn them on then off rapidly in a given time span so sometimes they reset after turning them off then on (the switches have to be on at all times to use with the app/Alexa). If the company made them able to be switch activated for when times are tough and we’re without Wi-Fi, I wouldn’t have a single complaint. Besides this, they’re everything you could want in a smart light!

   These lights are extremely bright

   I recently invested in the DAYBETTER Smart Light Bulbs 10 pack for my home, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision.    How could these be better? They can’t!

   They work flawlessly. They connect with your network, not Bluetooth to Amazon devices. That makes all the difference. Commands are followed instantly, even with large groups of bulbs. They’re bright, they change colors and are uber dependable. On sale for $4 each with the coupon? I bought a second order.

   Update: 4/13/23 almost immediately after posting the review, I was contacted by their support. Their support person was so understanding and extremely concerned about my issue. He sent me a replacement and I set them up. They work absolutely perfect now! I’ve updated my review to five stars. These really are worth it. And I have never worked with it support team that was so fast and took care of my issue faster than it would have taken Amazon to deliver it.These bulbs are absolute garbage!!! i got these because i wanted to have bulbs that use the tuya app so i have one app to go through. They are a cheap price because they are horrible. i synced them all up to work with home assistant and google… worked perfect. i turned the switch off in the dining room with 5 of the bulbs… next morning i turned on the switch and ALL 5 are blinking, meaning they need to resync. i figured i got a bad few, but they are ALL like this, i have had them for a week and have had to re add them to my tuya almost daily. I should say that daily i have to re add at least one. these are the worst. i am going to order kasa bulbs and return these, they are cheap for a reason.

    UpdateThe company reached out and offered a full refund and followed through. My husband ended up getting 2 lights to work with Alexa. It was a major pain in the ass he had to google it. The customer service was super friendly! I just wish it was as easy as the instructions in the box instead of having to go through google to get them to halfway work. The ones we got to work are incredible. Alexa will turn on and off as well as change the brightness and color on demand.OriginalI bought the 10 pack. We just bought our first house and thought these would be perfect. The set up was a pain in the butt. Once it’s finally done I paired it to my Alexa the whole reason I bought these bulbs. Well Alexa says it’s paired but doesn’t work with the lights. She says the lights are unresponsive or she can’t find them even tho they are paired. The only wait to control them in the tuya smart app which is very frustrating. Anytime you flip your light switch is resets your bulb and you have to completely repair and go through the entire process again which takes forever and it’s a pain. I would not recommend these.

    Fixing to order my third box

    Today is Aug 25, 2024 Ok I bought my first ten pack in June. Then recent bought another box of ten. Fixing to buy another box. So I’ve been running these a couple of months. I also have another brand that uses the Feit app. As seen in my video occasionally I’ll have a bulb hiccup. Not a huge deal. I have to say these seem to hiccup less than the other brand I’m running. Overall these are quick and easy to set up. We live in a 2000 sq ft home. I have taped all light switches until everyone is use to Alexa. Trying to make sure we don’t manually turn off a light which would disconnect then. So far we have not had any lights loose connectivity. So far I’m very happy.

    Very Easy To Install

    The bulbs arrived quickly. They are exactly as advertised. I downloaded the tuyasmart app as per instructions. I turned on the bulb, and within moments it was blinking. I ran the app, connected the app to my WIFI, and moments later the bulb was connected to the app. I then connected the app to Alexa and in less that one minute I had voice control to the light. I now have all of the bulbs installed from the 10 pack I purchased, and I could not be more pleased. In my opinion, this purchase is well worth the money. I can now control all of the lights in and around my home, with just my voice.

    Keeps resetting

    While initially impressed by their compatibility with Amazon Alexa, I’ve encountered significant connectivity issues with these lights. Despite no changes to my network, I’ve had to reconnect them frequently, sometimes even twice a week. This recurring inconvenience has led me to reconsider my purchase and consider investing in genuine Amazon brand lights. I would not recommend these lights to others due to their unreliable performance.

    Works somewhat well

    These bulbs are okay. When they are disconnected from power or the wifi goes out, it is a 50/50 chance when they turn back on that they are just fine and work perfectly, or they need to be re-added by the app. I got these on sale so I am not upset because they were pretty inexpensive, but I imagine that there are some nicer bulbs that are not such a headache when they are disconnected from power or wifi. (That might be the case for all smart bulbs I am only familiar with these.)

    My original review below but due to prompt and excellent customer service I have changed from 2 star to 4 star because, as I said, the product itself is really good and easy to set up. Works with my Google home. So I can now recommend because if you have any problems customer service will sort you out ASAP. They should probably put their bulbs in a better, more protective package.Seem like good smart bulbs but 4 out of 10 not working, and I mean not working. Doesn’t light up. Really?!?!

    Over all these are amazing 10000/10 recommend. BUT they do not come with instructions other than how to turn them on. If it wasn’t for my brother having similar lights I wouldn’t have figured this out. I’m tech savvy my self. But I couldn’t get this.Step 1. Install all lightsStep 2. Make sure all light switches that go to the lights are off.Step 3. Turn on each light switch one by one.Step 4. Add all devices on appStep 5. Where it says “ All devices” click the “…” on the right side. Create a room for each room you have to be organized.Step 6. Click “Room Management”Step 7. “Add Room” put the name you want and save.Step 8. Go back click “ Room Management” Click the room of your desire. Then add all the lights you want to go togetherThis will make it easier to swipe when your just wanting certain roomsStep 9. Go to where you see the “all devices” then click the room you want to work with.Step 10. Click Any of them.Step 11. Go to the Pen in the right top corner.Step 12. Click “Create Room” Then add each light you want to all be synced. This makes it easier if you have 4 lights in one room. You can turn them all off/on together. Or music sync etcAnd you can still turn on/off each light if need be.I have 10 lights in my home with these. There great. But like I said without my brother I woulda been at a loss.     Not changing colors!

    The product was not so easy to set up as the instructions are horrible at best! After finally getting it set up I can get lights to turn on and off but ALEXA will not change the color. It just says I don’t know how to do that. I can do it from the tuya app but it says Alexa can. Not sure what I am doing wrong but if no answers these are going back***UPDATE*** I was in contact with the company they were very apologetic and gave me a full refund. They still do not change colors and not worth any more of my time to try and figure them out. They are supposed to change colors as they will through the app but not alexa. I will give Customer service a 5 star but product on the description a 2 star

    Cool lights.

    Lights came packaged well. No broken bulbs. Whew. Installed easily into existing sockets. App download was simple, not the greatest app to get used to but easy to figure out with patience. Colors are awesome and really change the mood well.Only problem I am having is when I put just the white lights on, the don’t stop blinking. The colored lights work great and stay on with no blinking. Only the white lights blink non stop. Any ideas?

    Smart bulbs

    Overall Good smart bulbs, after few months of use I haven’t had many issues besides the bulb do lose sync once in a while and you have to reset the configuration in order to resync with the app. Also the bulb do completely lose configuration if light switch is turned off not sure if every unit has the same issue but this one randomly loses sync even after few seconds. Other than that I have set it up to work with Amazon Alexa commands and you can also group them together which is great. I will keep an eye to see if this will be resolved in firmware updates if any

    I got the 20 pack. Of the 20, 2 of them would not pair in any fixture at any part of my home and 1 of them just didn’t work. That’s a 15% failure rate for the product, which isn’t great.The 17 that do work are fine. They could totally be brighter, but I’m okay with them. The software/app is not great. The schedule doesn’t seem to function properly and some of the lights just kind of do their own thing from time to time. Leaving the light switch on all the time is a bit weird. I had some previous RGB bulbs that were capable of going back to whatever they were doing before and following a schedule AND allowing me to turn the switch on and off. I can’t tell where the limitation is, in the bulb or the app.Some of the settings a bit disappointing and I wish it had a more robust engine for creation of scenes and the options provided to the bulbs. I know that there are a myriad of things available to RGB bulbs and it seems like these are being held back. I really wish I had researched more to find a brand with better software and setup. I am also a bit bummed that I’ve got 3 bulbs that I can’t do anything with. If I had it to do over again I might have spent extra to get something else.

    Very Nice!

    I bought a box of these and ended up buying a second. My bathroom vanities each need 7 bulbs, then ceiling lights, etc. They have been easy to connect to wifi and stay connected with the ability to use Alexa to control them and set up routines. Brightness is easy to control and can be adjusted by voice. I set them in groups in the Alexa app based on where they are and can control one or all together. The colors are nice as well. Setting 7 of them in a row in the lighting setup in my bathroom with each one a different color really makes for some nice ambiance in there. doing the same with three in my ceiling fan makes for a cool nightlight as well.I hope this is helpful

    Decent Lights !

    Love the lights, colors can be changed from the app and Alexa as well as turning them on & off. Easy set up to get up and running & connected. The only downfall I would have to say about it is if you ever forget and turn it on by the original light switch then it won’t work and you have to reconnect it, but other than that works great haven’t had any trouble out of it other than that!

    I was pleasantly surprised by these bulbs. At about $4 apiece for the 10-pack they are a good deal.PRO: 1) The price point is excellent.2) Works well with Alexa3) I found out that I could use a dual band router (2.4/5.0Ghz) to connect to during setup even despite the instructions saying you can not. One just has to choose to enter the bulbs manually.CON: 1) The set-up was a pain in the rump but this seems to be the norm for ANY of this type of product.2) Not very happy that I HAD to use a 3rd party App to set up the bulbs. Now somebody, in China probably, has access to my router’s Wi-Fi password and to my Amazon data. Plus I’ve noticed an increase in spam texts (might be the app, might not).3) The colors are not as bright/true as other brands available but the price-point makes that tolerable.4) Despite what another person here stated: you HAVE to keeps the app on your phone … forever … in case you have to re-link any bulb. It can’t be done through Alexa at all.

    Very nice at a reasonable price

    I’ve had smart bulbs in my home for years. My friends had an anniversary and thought my home was really kool… so I decided to make their home a smart home as well. I got them the bulbs, then had them install SMART HOME app and enable that skill in the Alexa. We added the bulbs, then I helped them make ROUTINES like having the driveway come on at SUNSET, dim to 10% at MIDNIGHT, and turn off at SUNRISE.They were very happy with it… we even made routines like «movie time» which dimmed all the lights and set the two lamps by the sofa so one was cyan and one was orange. They loved it!
